SublimeMerge: Crash on Open or New Repo

Hello,

Sublime Merge crashes almost immediately for me when I try to open or create a new repo. Here’s a gif that shows the behaviour:

Open Existing:

I’m using Windows 10, and have tried both the install and portable versions, as far as I know I don’t have any weird git setup that might be confusing things.

Any ideas what might be going on and if there’s anything I can do to help trace the root of the problem?
