- What version of Sublime Text are you using ?
- What OS ?
I am a daily user of the latest development builds of ST and I have never seen file content being destroyed on saving. It’s most likely you have a package/plugin doing destructive favors.
You can always try the same thing in safe mode to see if it happens with no packages/plugins installed.
