I’ll download for Mac, open in it my download folder, move the file to apps, and open it there. The file will attempt to start up, but after a minute or so it’ll not open with the message “not responding”. I’ve tried this a few times with no success.
Sublime text "not responding" on Monterey 12.3.1
Sublime Text 4. I have not tried safe mode. I’ll give it a go and let you know. Thanks!

I had the same problem! Were you able to solve it?
I downloaded sublime text multiple times but it seems to crash whenever I try to open it!
Delete whatever installation of ST you have, and reboot. Download a fresh copy, close EVERYTHING else, and install it. And with NOTHING ELSE running, try to open SublimeText and see how it goes.
Hello Ed, this week my Sublime Text Editor randomly crashed, and today it completely stopped working with message Application Not Responding.
I have done what you suggested above: delete all ST installation, reboot and download a fresh copy. As soon as I run it and start typing something, it just crashed.
I’m using MacBook Pro Sonoma 14.6.1 and I can see in my Activity Monitor, Sublime is using 100% CPU (in red color). Can you help me please? Thanks.
