Sublime Text / Merge Questions

Sublime Merge Package Control

So for the License in Sublime merge. The license gives you Dark Theme and private test builds for sublime merge updates. Will this affect users from making themes for Sublime merge. What I am thinking is since you can get the dark theme from purchasing the license, it also gives you the right to make themes.

Sublime Text 4

(future features that may or may not be in ST4)

So a lot of my friends use Sublime text than other text editors because of it having fewer features and its very fast. When Sublime Merge released a GUI Settings update. I was just thinking about if Sublime Text 4 could have the same feature but still fast. It was a thought because since the settings uses JSON syntax coding. I was thinking about this because not everyone knows JSON, though it could help them master the language when they type the settings incorrectly. It would be cool to see Sublime Text 4 to have some similar GUI features but very fast.

for those who don't use sublime merge, you do have to options of using the GUI setting or editing it in a JSON file like Sublime text 3

Yes, licensed users can use third-party themes, or create their own. See https://www.sublimemerge.com/docs/themes for documentation on writing your own theme, or customizing one of the existing ones.

If you want to use a custom color scheme, there is some info at https://github.com/sublimehq/sublime_merge/issues/198#issuecomment-471042729.
