Hi, I have been having this issue for a little while now. When I have sublime text open on my computer for more than a couple of minutes my whole computer starts to lag. I can’t do anything quickly at all. There is no high CPU usage or memory problems during the lag. This lag includes everything like switching windows, tabs, typing, etc.
At first, I had the AYU theme installed and when I deleted it I wasn’t having any problems for about a week. But the lag just came back. I tried reinstalling sublime text, I installed space gray theme + emmet and tried to code again but then the lag started back.
Why would the sublime text be lagging my whole computer? I have a MacBook Pro with a quad-core i7 and 8gb of ram that handles all my other problems such as demanding firefox, shift, Mamp, slack, Spotify, etc just fine.
Just for some more context, I have been using sublime text on the same machine for at least 9 months with no issues at all. I haven’t updated it or changed anything. It even took me a while to figure out that sublime was the source of my lag because It doesn’t make much sense at all.
