Sublime text icons

Hi,
I am working on a theme of my own. I am planning to add an icon for file type “.log” . Right now, its icon is *. I have placed a folder of icons within the parent theme folder and within it placed three png files appropriately named

file_type_log.png
file_type_log@2x.png
file_type_log@3x.png

(I know the icons are not correct for log file types , but those are the only pngs that I have which are in the corrent dimensions, ATM)

However, the icon that I am trying to set for the log file does not appear in the sidebar, while all other icons are getting displayed

I have restarted ST multiple times , but the icon is just not getting applied.

Can you please let me out with this ?

Ok … I think I got it working… had to install a package for Log file handling and set the log preferences. For the later, Sidebar icons in themes helped.

The name isn’t enough, there is a setting file that link extensions to icons. I don’t remember which one though… You should look into your theme files.
