Apple Care discovered a Sublime Text problem with Spotlight. The macOS search tools cannot find extant folder Sublime Text.
After the successful manual installation of Package Control, to build install content missed by Package Control installer (Install Package Control, command platform ineffective), then we must repair missing Sublime Text. This involves rebuilding the macOS Spotlight Index.
The macOS System Preferences, Spotlight Privacy tab is opened. Folder named Sublime Text is added to Privacy blocked list, then removed from same blocked list. After several minutes, Spotlight is re-indexed with Sublime Text removed from an unexpected blocked status.
Apple Engineering does not know where or how Sublime Text block occurs. The block occurs during manual resolution of not stable Sublime Text 4107 unable to install Package Control in the running macOS Big Sur 11.4.
Mac is a 2013 model with the final 2018 circuit board components. Internet is 1gbps.
