Sublime Text and Sublime Merge has stopped working

I have no idea what happened
But Sublime Text and Sublime Merge has stopped working suddenly.
No error in log, no error in console.
Sublime Text version: 4126 from 09-09
Sublime Merge version: 2071 from 09-09
Clicking on either icons show that they are starting but nothing happening.
How can I debug the issue?

I’m unsure of your problem and not affiliated with Sublime at all, just a user. But what I would do is try to think through what changed? Something on your system must have changed.

I would also maybe think about moving your configuration files out of the way to let both of them have a clean slate. Although with both failing at the same time, I wouldn’t expect config files as a first.

But may be there is a way to see an error?
System log has nothing, which is weird! I would suspect that this sort of failure will result in some notifications at least.
Is it possible to turn on logging for either of them?
Is it possible to run one or another from console in verbose mode?

You can run ST from the command line in a blocking fashion using subl --multiinstance --debug.
