Sublime Text 4125 launches two visible processes

Ever since 4125 (I think), every time I launch ST4, it launches 2 processes in my dock.

All clues point to it being the plugin host:

  • It’s the child of the first process (based on hierarchical Activity Monitor)
  • It’s “not responding”, and has to be “force quit”
  • If it’s forced to quit, the main process still works, but says “plugin_host-3.3 has exited unexpectedly”

Is this a regression exposing plugin-host as another visible app instance?

Interesting. Not exactly (because mine doesn’t shut itself down), but the issue is gone once I removed the “go build” plugin, as this comment points out. Thank you for finding that. Now just need to find another convenience for building go.
