Sublime Text 4 problem with IME

Hi, love your work on this great editor! (been user since 3

Background

I am a Japanese User, and I am using

  • Google IME for Japanese
  • Microsoft IME(Windows Standard)
    for Japanese Input Method on Windows 10/11

The Problem I encountered

※Please see attachment
First I move the Keyboard cursor(the position where you type) to Beginning of Line 3
Type some words(in this case テスト/tesuto)
Press escape to cancel(as I am typing wrong
And the Keyboard cursor stops where is was(not returning the the BOL)

Also, Status Bar on bottom left shows ｢Line 3, Column 4｣, rather than
｢Line 3, Column 1｣

One more thing

Same problem DOESNOT happens with Chinese IME
in my Case

  • Microsoft Pinyin
