Sublime Text 4 open file in same window

Sublime Text 4 build 4113
macOS Big Sur 11.6

When ever I double click to open a file from Finder, or drag/drop file onto dock icon, the files are always opened in a new window, eventhough my open_files_in_new_window is set to never.

Any suggestion on how to fix this? Thank you!

This should be fixed in the current dev build 4116.

@bschaaf no it’s not, i’m using build 4121 which states

  • “open_files_in_new_window” is now respected when reading from stdin

but the bug still present.

Thanks bschaaf, redeclare the settings as your suggestion did the trick. Not sure whether it’s a bug for feature, but it works anyway.
