Sublime Text 4 no longer supporting Interactive Data Language syntax highlighting

Hi,

I am working on a Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1 version and doing actively code development with Interactive Data Language. Since some recent update on the Mac system the editor seems not to be able to recognize IDL code anymore. I have tried to figure out what is going on but it seems I cannot find an answer. I have attempted to reinstall the editor by downloading and updating to the latest version, re-add the package for IDL syntax highlighting through the Package Control but no success.

Do you have any clues on what is going on?

Installing the “IDL-syntax” package and setting the syntax of a file to “IDL” (View > Syntax > IDL) works fine on my end. If you want to open all files with that extension use View > Syntax > Open all with current extension as… > IDL.
