Sublime Text 4 - macOS Icon Color

#1

Please change the way the Icon is displayed in MacOS - when I use the System Setting DARK - the icon of Sublime is still the same/greyish color. As someone that works with Colors all day - this always gets me in a jiffy

So please, consider updating the Icon for MacOS so it uses the same black as all the other icons of the system. I would greatly appreciate it.

I noticed the same issue. It looks like the problem is that the icon is using a hardcoded background color and doesn’t adhere to the current guidelines for macOS icons.

From what I understand, if the icon is created correctly with back- and foreground layer, macOS should automatically use the correct background color in both light and dark mode.

I found some documentation on icons, maybe it’s helpful:
https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/app-icons

It would be great if the devs could take a look at it. The current icon really sticks out, specifically when you enable dark icons via OS setting.
