I’ve used ST3 on other platforms, but this is the first time I’ve used it on Windows. At any rate, I’m accessing file shares using CIFS, and the files ultimately reside on a Netapp filer.
I’m occasionally modifying/adding files in this particular directory from a Linux host which is using NFS. However, ST3 is not telling me it detected the file has been modified/altered before writing the buffer to disk. This seems like a hugely dangerous thing. You could of course criticize me for editing in two different places. I’m sort of forced to use ST3 on Windows because you don’t release pre-built binary release that will work on CentOS 5.7, and I would like to be able to use all the capabilities of the editor.
Thanks,
