Sublime Text 3-dev is “phoining home”. Can you please fix this feature or even better remove it completely? If you refuse to remove this feature, at least fix it to only check once on every ST startup. Having a “phoining home” feature in software like an editor is bad enought, but having it check every few minutes completely discourages me from using ST in the future. This is especially bad when some one is using a proxy, which can be a privacy concern or even a security risk.

ST only does a check on startup to ensure your license hasn’t been revoked afaik, maybe some third party plugin is causing what you are seeing. If you can provide details, we might be able to help.

There’s no reason to check for license revocation even intermittently as it’s a very rare event, so afaik we only check on startup.
