Hi Everyone,
Sorry if this is a repost. This isn’t a bug necessarily, but it’s been driving me absolutely crazy.

When using the Goto window with show files enabled, the dialog attempts to be clever and prioritize the last opened file when it can’t fully resolve which file I want to open. This leads to the scenario shown in the screen shot about 10 percent of the time for me, which I find very frustrating.
Ideally, I believe that if I type the name of a file exactly, that should take precedence over files where the string I typed merely exists within the file name - regardless of whether or not I may have opened one file more recently than another. I’m not sure if it’s “Most Recently Opened” (which I suspect) or “Most Often Opened” (possible). Neither of these are particularly useful to me, although I have no doubt it’s very useful to other people.
Anyway, it’s especially a problem for me because most of the time I know exactly which uniquely named file I want, and I just hit the keyboard shortcut to pop up the Goto window, type the full name of the file, and hit enter before the GUI catches up.
I’m often depressed to find some seemingly arbitrary file staring back at me.
Okay thanks for your attention, much appreciated.
