Hi, after trying out different IDE’s and text editors the past few weeks, I decided to go with ST3 after learning about COLT.io for live preview.
It works great on the HTML side–it reflects the changes as you type. However, on the CSS side it is far from real-time although their website claims otherwise. It either takes 5-15 seconds to show changes, you have to move the mouse over the browser and then it refreshes, or you have to hit CTRL+SHIFT+R. Kind of lame. I am wondering if anyone knows if there is setting for adjusting the speed of the CSS portion.
I tried to use Emmet LiveStyle to compensate for this delay, but COLT and it don’t seem to work together well. LiveStyle by itself works great for CSS, but doesn’t do anything for HTML preview. Would be great if it was as seamless as Adobe Brackets. Got rid of LiveStyle since it doesn’t work well with COLT and switching between them for HTML and CSS is too much of a hassle.
Anyway, know how to get the CSS portion working like it is supposed to?
