Sublime Text 3 build 3208 won't start without license

I upgraded ST3 and now it won’t start, I only get the purchase license popup.
Is my free trial over?
OS: Ubuntu 18.04

Use a stable build/channel then. Dev builds always require a valid license.

I am using the stable build

$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sublime-text.list
deb https://download.sublimetext.com/ apt/stable/

What am I missing?
All I did was apt dist-upgrade

That would be interesting… but since I am on the dev channel I can’t really answer that…

Iirc, all ST’s settings are in ~/.config/sublime-text-3 under Ubuntu and won’t be removed even uninstalling ST. Maybe you could re-install ST?
