Sublime Test 3 Mac Installation

Hello,
I downloaded the latest stable release of ST3 yesterday to my iMac running Mojave. The installation via .dmg file is successful but when I start ST3 I get a black UI and cannot see anything in the console or the package installer (cmd-shift-p) The installation is essentially unusable.
Can someone please direct me to instructions for setting up ST3 on a mac?

Could you try using the setting "gpu_window_buffer": false?

Hello, yes I tried that and it made no difference

Some more settings data from my machine, you can see the path, folder contents and preference settings here? Please can you tell me which file I need to change this setting please:

"theme": "predawn.sublime-theme" there’s your issue . Simply deleting that line will make Sublime Text use the default theme.
