Sublime SFTP - Slow SFTP Connection

Hi,

When I use FTP to work remote (or any other operation between ST and the remote server), all is great and the speed is as expected. When I switch to SFTP, it become super slow (browsing, uploading, downloading,…). I have compare the speed using FileZilla and another code edotir I use just to make sure it’s not an issue with my servers and the speed difference is simply amazing. On FileZilla and the other code editor, it’s as fast as regular FTP but on ST it’s way to slow.

Note that I made sure to use the same setting on all 3 program.

This is to bad because Sublime Text is amazing but without SFTP support it’s not usable to do web dev. I could use FTP but it’s not secure. Using a less secure protocol is not the way to fix this issue.

Could there be some setting or trick I have missed?

I am experiencing the same issue now. SFTP seems to be running super slow compared to before. I just updated to the new sublime text. Any thoughts. It takes twice as long to bring up the browse remote folder, and downloads and uploads are very much slower.
