Sublime not responsive and crashes on Mac, repeatedly

On macOS Mojave 10.14.6. I work as a developer with three monitors - because I need them for productivity. And today I finally decided to keep count of the number of crashes I get daily. I have six crashes so far, and it’s not even lunch yet.

HELP. I paid for this product.

I’m seeing crashes as well – some addl. detail:

  • it seems to happen when I’m editing files on a remote volume
  • attempting to save a file causes ST to crash.
  • the file being saved at the time of the crash is replaced on the remote volume with a completely blank (zero-length) file. This happens even if the file has previously been saved to the remote volume. (In other words, it’s not losing unsaved work – it’s completely trashing the file).

That last bit is really frustrating, as you can imagine.

FWIW, same version of MacOS (10.14.6).

I’m saving / editing remote files as well, but my files are not put in the trash or missing afterwards, and I save and edit as many local files. So I can’t say for sure that in my case saving remote is even a contributor to the issue as my system crashes when making the smallest of changes, local or otherwise. SublimeText just keeps dying. :confused:
