For the last several months, Sublime no longer detects HTML files on open. Instead, after opening an HTML file, I always have to use the View | Syntax | HTML to get syntax highlighting. Other file types do not have this problem, just HTML files. I searched for a solution, but I am unable to figure out how to address this problem. Could you please point me to the possible cause(s)?
Thank you, Beate

You are right on the mark here. And just after I paid for that color scheme, I hope they fix it. In the meantime, I will have to use a different color scheme.
Thank you for your help!

I woudn’t bet on it. The author was quite renitent with regards to that part during our last discussions prefering to provide some type specific icons in favor of UX.

I saw that discussion on GitHub and had no idea what icons the author was talking about. Useability and functionality are more important than visual appearance. I left a note in that discussion as well, but per your note I have zero expectations.
