Hi,
\SOME-LINUX-MACHINE\some.file (owner: root, group: root, rights: 0644)
becomes
\SOME-LINUX-MACHINE\some.file (owner: Windows, group: User users, rights: 0444)
when edited. Neither Notepad nor any other program does that, they keep user, group and rights intact.
Aparently Sublime replaces the original Linux user and group with first and last name of the Windows user + ’ users’. This happens accessing a Synology NAS from a Win7 PC.
