Sublime Merge: Option To Tint Repo Tabs

#1

Hi Sublime,

I have been using Sublime Merge quite a bit and lately I have been managing alot of different repos across my local system. Sometimes I have multiple projects I am working on that share the same git repo. (IE multiple upper level project have submodules that are the same git repo). These shared git repos are for shared functionality between projects so I push changes in one and pull in the others to sync the repos across projects. This means I usually have multiple tabs open with the same repo name - but different absolute paths - and It is often a little bit hard to remember which tab corresponds to which absolute repo path and I have to double check the pathing (hovering on the tab and waiting). Here are some Ideas I think would make this alot easier as potential options:

  • Adding an option to make tabs tinted In Color based on Either a hash of the absolute path or just the ability to set a color override. This would make quick glancing easier.

  • Adding an Option to show absolute path of repo in the tab at all times but with smaller text.

Thanks for the Great software!
