Sublime Merge - how to force checkout?

Ctrl+P simply replaces my query and ignores it. How do I enter raw git commands in SM?

At the moment I constantly switch to command line and back :frowning:

While it is possible to add custom git commands to key bindings, the command palette and menu entries, those all need to be pre-defined. That is, there’s no way to enter ad-hoc git commands on the fly; for that you indeed need to use the command line.
