Sublime Merge does not open from Sublime Text on Mac

After installing both ST & SM on Mac (Monterey v12.6), I can open both programs and use them. However, there is no integration from ST to SM. The “Open Git Repository” command, “File History”, etc. do nothing.

There are no entries in the console in either application.

How can I open SM to view the current file’s git repo information directly from ST?

Are both applications installed in the same place?

No, Merge was still in the Downloads folder. I moved it over to Applications, and the integration works now.
