Sublime merge disable new version available popup after the update has already been 'discovered'

#1

Hi, I love these products but I’m having an issue currently

I’m getting a ‘update available’ popup for sublime merge (2110->2112) but there’s seemingly no option to permanently dismiss it without actually installing the new version. I tried setting “update_check”: false in the settings but am still getting the popup, presumably because the software already knows about the update? How can I make this popup go away without installing new software

edit: I am a currently licensed user

If you untick the “check for updates” box it should no longer prompt you. Sublime Merge does not in any way remember that there is an update. If the box is grayed out that means it is in an unlicensed state.

Hmm I see, thank you for your response. In that case the disable update check box appears to not be functioning as described: license is installed and the box is toggleable, but the update available window keeps eventually popping up regardless of checkbox state when closing the update available window.

I can’t reproduce this. With build 2110 installed, a license and the “check for updates” box disabled I’m not getting any update popup. If I check the box again it starts prompting again.
