Sublime is not saving changes

I am using Sublime Text 3.2.2 on a MacBook Pro (Mohave 10.14.6). I am correcting a scanned Chinese-language text (converted by OCR into a readable format) in Sublime Text.

The problem I encountered was erratic behaviour in saving changes. At a certain point the Sublime Text file began to show that the file had been changed, but this did not seem to be showing up in a browser. The problems ultimately related to the output of the OCR (countless errors, duplication of content, find and replace problems, etc.).

Thank you to those who visited, and particularly to Usig for responding with a suggested solution.

It seems like you are using a web browser. What type of file are you editing? Did you check whether the file has been cached?

Thank you very much for your considered reply.

I think I’ve located the cause of the problem, which is not related to cache issues and more to difficulties with the text itself (messy output of the OCR, problems of duplication / gaps, markup, find and replace issues, etc.).

I’ll try and resolve some of the more frustrating and confusing aspects of the OCR output. If I experience more problems I’ll post again.
