Sublime does not start

#1

Hi,

When I run sublime I get the error message “This build is expired.” After downloading the latest version this error still appears and I am not able to run the editor at all.

I am running a Linux 64bit system.

Please advise.

Cheers,
Oliver

I don’t get it. What has the browser to do with the program?

For some people, they are still seeing the 2.0.1 release because of caching. What hong was probably getting at was to force refresh (ctrl+f5 maybe). I don’t know the command off the top of my head, so you may have to look it up. If it is 2.0.2 that is expired, I don’t really have a solution. You can purchase I license or try ST3 I suppose.

No, I also tried to download it from the command line like it is described in the manual:

wget c758482.r82.cf2.rackcdn.com/Sublime\ Text\ 2.0.1\ x64.tar.bz2

I have the feeling that there is some old configuration file or so which should be deleted but I could not find it yet.

Any idea?

The thing is that latest version is 2.0.2.

The correct link would be this one:

c758482.r82.cf2.rackcdn.com/Subl … 64.tar.bz2
