Sublime 3 win7 x64 wont open (have to kill sublime_text.exe to open)

Everytime i close sublime text 3 it stays running in the background, if you check task manager there are usually one or two processes. I have to end these processes and then i can open sublime again… This happens every time now and it’s pretty crappy.

I went into %appdata%\local and %appdata%\roaming and deleted the entire sublime text 3 folder… Restarted, closed sublime, went to reopen and same exact issues. Am i missing something somwhere?

Funny, until today I had no issues - now I am experiencing almost the same thing. When I attempt to start ST3, I see the task sublime_text.exe, and it is using about 13% of the processor, but the editor window never appears! I can kill that task and repeat, but same thing! What is causing this strange behavior?

No help on this? I dont want to buy this now that it doesn’t open. Does Sublime actually read these tech forums ?

I am having this problem, too. It started roughly 3 weeks ago. Windows 7 x64. Sublime Text 3 Build 3114.
