Sublime 3 indentation settings

Hi,
I want to set the tab size to 2 (instead of 4). I used the tutorial at sublimetext.com/docs/2/indentation.html, but I can’t find any of the configuration files mentioned in the article(for example: Packages/User/Preferences.sublime-settings). My OS is ubuntu 14.02.
What should I do?
Should I create one of those files?
