Sublime 2 editing files from gnome places (sftp)

I just installed Sublime 2 and when I try to edit files browsing from gnome places sftp remote shares (gnome 2/centos 6.5) and open via Sublime it just opens a blank plage. Any pointers?

I’m also having the same issue with Sublime 3, using nemo. Anybody?
