Strange matching in goto anything

I have a file named speaker.js and quite a lot of other files starting with asdSpeaker…
If I use goto anything and press a ‘s’ it will select speaker.js as first choice, but if I type fast a few starting letters, like ‘spe’ as I often tend to do when searching for anything, all the asdSpeaker… files are shown as best result and not until I actually have typed the dot after ‘speaker’, I’m able to see the file. This seems like strange matching in my opinion. Is this really correct?
