Strange behaviour of find in files [SOLVED]

This is certainly only a settings issue, but I can not find the right setting. In one of my projects, the output of the find in files command appears inside a narrow panel (like the control panel) instead of in a new window. in all my other projects the behaviour is normal, i.e. the results appear in a new tab. What might be the cause and how can I change this behaviour?

Is your Use Buffer option enabled?

Thanks, that was it. I did not expect this setting to be remembered on a per project basis (even after I recreated the project from scratch).
