What’s the actual problem? Many files are created/modified during a build and automatic indexing of them causes a performance issue?
Isn’t adjusting "index_exclude_patterns": [] sufficient enough to exclude temporary build artefacts?
this is how i use build_systems to build my site
and at this moment indexing starts + it conflicts with gui sourcetree
I don’t have artifacts
I get ready files immediately in the process
and I have a layering of load
Immediately ready files are build artifacts to exclude from indexing as well.
AFAIK, recent ST releases (should) provide various improvements with regards to unneccesary load during build processes, which were not directly related with indexing, but just the way how filesystem notifications are handled.
Pausing indexer is not possible via API.
