ST4: Interface unresponsive after wake from sleep

#1

OS: Windows 10 - 21H1
Hardware: Carbon X1 Laptop
ST ver: 4113

Issue: If I leave Sublime Text windows open when I put my laptop to sleep, they become unresponsive when I wake the machine. In particular the text areas do not react to mouse inputs or keyboard inputs, so it’s not possible to edit the text or select it. I can interact with the menu bar, but the file tab bar is also unresponsive.

I can fix this by shutting down all open instances of Sublime, then re-opening the application. This only started happening after I upgraded from ST3 to ST4.

I have tried a fresh install of ST4 and still have the same issue.

Here is a list of the packages I have installed:
Color Highlighter
JSCustom
PackageResourceViewer
Alignment
Compare Side-By-Side
LESS
Pretty JSON
Theme - Tech49
AutoHotkey
ESLint-Formatter
LineEndings
Prolog
TrailingSpaces
Case Conversion
Emoji
Markdown Extended
SublimeLinter
zenburn
CleanCSS
Flexbox Snippets
MarkdownPreview
Text Pastry
Clipboard Manager
Google Spell Check
Package Control
Theme - Brogrammer

Thanks in advance!

Does it happen in safe mode? Do you have hardware acceleration enabled?

I’ve tried setting "hardware_acceleration" : "opengl" and have not noticed a change in behaviour.

I have not tried Safe Mode (today I learned that it’s a new feature in ST4!). I will try that and report back.

My gut is telling my that it might be package related, as I have noticed this behaviour on other devices (work laptop, desktop) as well.
