This is not the worst of the problems I’m having since the new ST4 release (I have a paid license) but it is probably the most annoying.
Ubuntu 20.04, if I try to drag a tab out to its own window, ST freezes completely, and glithces out enough that my thunderbolt dock disconnects and reconnects bringing all my windows back onto the main monitor.
I did not have this problem on ST3–is this a known issue with ST4?
Outside of a driver or gnome bug I don’t see how any application should be able to cause a thunderbolt dock to disconnect. Does it happen in safe mode? Are you using hardware acceleration?
I’m as stumped as you are. It does hang in safe mode as well. I have not changed anything from my ST3 config, so it should not be using hardware acceleration.
Not sure if this is related, but in the new window that is created from dragging a tab out of a project, the “ctrl + s” shortcut no longer works to save the file, I need to go in and click File > Save to do so.
