The issue is my being unable to open Syntax popup window to select a specific syntax, only command palette is able to set a syntax I need. Syntax popup window doesn’t show if I click on the bottom-right corner of the main window of ST4, nor does it appear if I go within a menu View -> Syntax, nothing is shown up
I have wayland display manager, gnome 40.2, systemd as a service daemon, 2 screens/monitors related to each other as top and bottom. I try to open Syntax popup window on the top screen, which is recognized a main screen, where main window of ST4 is located
The issue is not seen if I work in 1 screen mode
What I am observing also, the issue also is not seen if I go into full-screen mode in ST4, in such a case it shows, but in the bottom screen. So the main window of ST4 is left on the top screen while the Syntax popup goes to the bottom
When I opened journalctl I saw it print out information like Buggy client caused popup to be placed outside of parent window as a consequence of my trial to open a Syntax popup window
Has anyone faced such an issue? Could someone help me what might be going wrong? Is it an issue of ST4 at all? Or it is a bug of, maybe, wayland or gnome?
