ST4 Build 4142 crashes on loading JS

Hi Sublime Community,

I have just installed ST4 Build 4142 on Linuxmint 20.3 and loading any JavaScript file crashes the application, i.e. no code or loading bar shown for about 30 seconds, application frozen, CPU at 100%, then code shown but unscrollable, every small scroll another 30 seconds to briefly unfreeze, force quit needed.

I have the following packages installed…
A File Icon
DotENV
Laravel Blade Highlighter
Material Theme
Package Control

Tried reinstalling Build 4142. Would like to go back to Build 4107 but can’t find download links for it. The link for ST4 on https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/previous_versions.html goes nowhere. Any ideas?

It was the color theme I was using, Material Theme, which doesn’t seem to be adjusted to ST4 Build 4142 in its current version 4.1.5, at least for JS files.

I can still use it as a general theme, just not for the colors, so this works.
“theme”: “Material-Theme-Darker.sublime-theme”,
“color_scheme”: “Monokai.sublime-color-scheme”
