so i just installed the update to ST4 and have noticed that the adaptive theme in ST4 has a brighter, more pastel shade to it. i also see that there is a config for adjusting / customizing these themes which is one of the items on my silent wish list (yay : )
could anyone more knowledgeable than myself tell me what i need to adjust to darken the background color back up so that its not a brighter more pastel ish color?
p.s. love it so far 
The new Adaptive theme adapts to whatever the colors are in your color scheme. So it might be worth a try to simply change the background color of your color scheme.
yea lol i as just about to come back here and say all i needed to do was select the monokai color scheme

Just wanted to note there are also four new convenience commands related to changing and modifying the UI. Open the Command Palette and type UI: to see these four new commands.
