ST3 Stops responding to mouse wheel

If i tab out of ST3 to some other application but then come back I am occasionally confronted with a non responsive ST3 when i use the mouse wheel to scroll. i can click into the editor and move the cursor, I can click into and drag the mini-map etc but the mouse wheel no longer scrolls the editor display.

If i again click out and use the mouse wheel in any other application it works just fine. After doing this it also starts working in ST3 again until I tab out again whereon it may or may not stop working again.

If you’re using linux and have a touchscreen, please see this issue.

Hi, I notice the same issue since at least a few months with ST4 in the latest Kubuntu. Don’t know if it was there before, thought it would be a OS issue on my side. But it seems to be exactly the same behavior. What OS are you running @mark4 ?

im running gentoo linux, kde plasma and no touchscreen

Then it could be related to KDE Plasma? Would match my setup (no touchscreen, too)

If it happens relatively consistently, you could try reproducing it with xev. It could be that we’re getting an unexpected modifier.

I just noticed this for the first time in Sublime Merge, too.

(And after executing xev it started working, thus no idea if I got useful output of it, I don’t get much out of its printed stuff)
