Hey I recently installed the SFTP (Wbond) plugin and am running into some issues with the ‘modified date’.
It seems there’s a bug with ST3 and/or SFTP, that IF the create datetime of a file is > the modified datetime of that same file, when you attempt to ‘DOWNLOAD FILE’ from the server, the modified date brought across is corrupt and defaults to a bogus datetime.
Sometimes my colleagues will delete their local copies of their files, and download new ones from the server via WINSCP FTP, what this does is modifies to the Create DateTime of the file to bew Now()/Current-Date-Time, BUT, the modified DateTime is kept in tact - So you get situations where the files on our live prod server have create dates of 30/9/2015, but the modified date is 02/02/2015. <— I believe this is what is causing the incorrect Modified DateTime issue when you attempt to ‘DOWNLOAD’ or ‘Remote -> Local Sync’ the file to your local PC.
Yes my colleagues need to be hit with spanners but what can ya do.
