The other day ST3 prompted me to update to the latest new version, and the WiFi was being particularly bad that day at my university so the patch was corrupted or the download was otherwise interrupted. Since then, every time I start ST3 it prompts me to update and when I accept, it immediately says “Patch Corrupted”.
I had to manually erase everything in ~/Library/Caches and ~/Library/Application Support/Sublime Text 3/Caches in order to have it properly re-download the patch again. Perhaps it ST3 remove the cached patch file when it detects it is corrupted?
