ST3 Problems Saving on Linux NTFS Partition

Upgraded to 3021, now often cannot save my files.

Details:

  • Running Ubuntu 12.10
  • Working on an NTFS (Windows 8) partition (saving on EXT4 partition seems to work fine)
  • Can create a new file, paste contents from another file, save, make changes and re-save but if I close the ST3 session and restart, I (usually) cannot save anymore
  • Problem is not repeatable but happens more often than not. Can’t seem to find a specific reason why it works sometimes not others
  • Never experienced these kind of problems with previous versions of ST and don’t have problems saving with other programs

Specific error message is "Unable to save "

Please let me know if there are additional steps I can take to debug. For now I will revert to an earlier ST because I obviously have to be able to save to do my work.

Thanks for the report, we’ll look into it.

Rather than reverting to an earlier version, you can set the atomic_save setting to false, which will use the previous saving logic.
