ST3 on Debian Wheezy

Wheezy (currently testing) and Sid (unstable) both have glibc 2.13.

This is unlikely to change between now and the point at which wheezy/sid go stable.

ST3 requires glibc 2.14 or 2.15, which renders Debian users completely unable to run ST3.

Can ST3 be built statically to avoid these problems?

+1, with the same issue, debian wheezy

./sublime_text_3/sublime_text: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.14' not found (required by ./sublime_text_3/sublime_text) ./sublime_text_3/sublime_text: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: versionGLIBC_2.15’ not found (required by ./sublime_text_3/sublime_text)

Could you also add support for glibc 2.12 as well? My RHEL6 box at work is on 2.12.
