[ST3] Modified files don't get reloaded on an SSHFS

#1

Hi,

I have a folder on my Mac hard disk mounted through SSHFS. When files get modified on the mounted Linux host by some other process (git checkout most of the time), Sublime doesn’t seem to notice - non-dirty buffers do not get reloaded, but closing and re-opening the file shows the new content.

Is this an issue with Sublime Text or sshfs? Any ideas on how to fix? It’s pretty annoying, I end up overwriting files with the wrong-branch version all the time.

Thanks,
Martin

Hi. I have the same issue. It’s quite annoying in several cases.

When switching branch, I have to remember to manually revert each and one open file. Otherwise I might get changes with me in the wrong branch. If I forget to revert (which has happened), it can bring me a few hours of trying to correct the code again.

I am using sshfs since I most of the time work from both home and work (with my private project). If I do changes at home, they are not there when I come to work since it won’t notice the changes. It has happened a few times that I have forgotten to revert, and then lose the changes since the last commit.

This was not an issue with Sublime 2, which I am still using at home due to this.
