I’m looking for a plugin or way to make the autocomplete in ST3 actually work.
What is the point with “go to definition” and symbol indexing if the autocomplete for Class:: opens a million suggestions from A-Z instead of the definitions inside Class only? (PHP)
I know this post is two months old but I found it actually while searching for exactly this. I’m asking myself the same question: How can you actually use autocomplete correctly, when all it does, is give you a list of every function available in PHP?
I think it’s quite disappointing that nobody has replied to this until now 
I like SublimeText very much, but without smart autocomplete I can never use it as my main dev working space.

I wouldn’t complain if this was an open source project, since then I could fix all the crap myself. But I actually paid up and expected a functioning support channel.
Surprised not, just disappointed, as already said 
It’s a shame because ST really is a nice and simple editor
And yes, completely agree with you regarding open-source / paid project.
