When I right-click a file in the sidebar and choose rename, I cannot just start typing. I have to mouse down to the input panel and click in there before I can type the new name.
Is this expected behaviour or is something going wrong?
(I’m on OS X using ST3 3085)
I now notice the problem only happens for files that are already open in a tab prior to right-clicking. If I right-click a file in the Side Bar that isn’t open, I can type over its name immediately.

Thank you for the recommendation but I’d like to see this fixed since I’m pretty certain it’s a bug in the stock Sublime.
