[ST3][ElCapitan] Shortcuts lag

#1

Hello,

I’ve been playing with El Capitan beta since it was out, and of course I had Sublime Text 3 installed. I figured out that some keyboard shortcuts were laggy. For example, pressing CMD+Return to append a new line was delayed for about one second. Same goes for switching tabs CTRL+Tab.

It’s a weird behaviour, because clicking the menu entries simplies hides the menu while letting the “Edit” menu selected for example.
This is very annoying, because I sometimes happen to press CMD+Return and start typing text, and some text is on the previous line. Same goes for switching tabs.

Do you know if it’s El Capitan issue or Sublime issue ?

Thanks.

I’m experiencing similar problems - Sublime feels laggy, is unresponsive for about 10 seconds after start up and sometimes goes through periods where I need to force quit it. At other times it seems fine. Can’t figure out whether the problem is El Capitan or Sublime

Problem seems to be El Capitan as Sublime worked fine in Yosemite and Mavericks. I actually have two machines: one MacBook Pro retina 2015 under El Capitan (not beta, public release) and a MacBook Air 2013 which I let on Mavericks. Sublime works fine on the MBA and has some minor issues under El Capitan.

Does it need to be recompiled or something?
I tried out Atom but it has some delays as well, due to the JS instead of native coding.
