just to see what would happen, i ran check for updates on the newest ST3 build, and i got the following pop up error pop up
“Error: unable to parse notification. Unexpected character …” (with the rest of the text cut off).
Also until I x out that window, says the top window.

Same thing here. Sadly I wasn’t doing just to see what would happen, but to make sure it actually updated. I got the notice that there was an update (using last beta, not dev - 3019 I believe) and agreed to download and install.
Immediately after pressing the Install & Restart button a series of many error sized windows appeared starting at the center of my screen and layering down to the right. It happened very quickly and the only word I was able to see was that all of them started with “Ruby”. Then it started up and acted normal except for the “Unable to parse notification” error I get now every time I click Check for Updates.
I’ll let you know if I run into anything related to Ruby.
